I own a marina and wonder about using in brackish water with a 1-2 foot tide change.
Ice Ripper
I would put this on the bottom; how deep should it be? Can leave in the water for 3 months?

This information is from the manufacturer's website. The J2 Ice Ripper has an effective working depth ranging from 1' to 8' while on its stand and can also be hung from docks or poles using the included eye bolts. The manufacturer does not specify how long the J2 Ice Ripper can remain submerged; I recommend contacting them directly for further clarification.
